Surprisingly, I really enjoyed this novella. I liked getting to see what was inside of Jordie’s head. He’s pretty messed up and I can’t believe he does what he does in this novella, all in the name of forgetting the woman he’s fallen for. Normally, I am not a fan of getting the down and dirty details, but for some reason here I didn’t mind it much. I still think Kacey owes Jordie a punch in the face, but I think what happens in this novella is exactly what Jordie needed to realize that he was being an idiot. Hopefully he pulls his head out of his butt sooner rather than later. I am looking forward to reading Overtime soon.Product details

Loved this sneak peak into Jordie's life as he is fighting his battle of losing Kacey. Looking forward to the rest of his story.
I have loved the series but this one was awful. I'm sure the author/publisher is setting us up for the next full title in the series, but it could/should have been done in one book. I am sure that Jordie has some redeeming qualities, but I didn't find them in this. Too much raunchy/random sex with no substance. I lost a lot of respect for his character and even the author. That being said, I will most likely order the next in the series to see how Kacey handles this creep.
We have a badly injured hockey player, and he is on the mend. But his doubts are killing him. A big lack of faith blinds him to all else. He has a loving woman who has left him, because of the alcohol and his depression. My fingers are crossed that he will find his true love, and play hockey again!
This is a great preview of what is to come of Jordies stories. I love the Assassins series. They are one of my favorite in the Hockey Romance reading collections. Although the Assassins are one big family they to suffer from trials and tribulations as a family. Definetly Read this book before reading Jordies story (Overtime).
The story was good but it needed more Kacey and less Jordie doing any chick that moved. I have read all of the Assassins books and really liked them. I did not know Jordie's story would take 2 books to tell. I was not happy it ended to be continued in August. Yes, I will probably buy part 2 but was really irritated the story wasn't told in one book. I do love Toni Aleo!
Well, this one certainly grabs your attention quickly . I can't describe it as sexy as much as erotic which is what I expected and I certainly wasn't disappointed . JT's character is well described and makes you want to read the next book in the assassins series . It is a quick read but held onto your Erader ! You may need to get some oven mitts to hold your book while reading !
Jordie is kind of a d@ck and can't make up his mind about what he wants. Knowing that he's only going to ever live Kacey, he decides to sleep with anything with a vagina to try to forget her. In the middle of one of his screw feats, he decides he needs Kacey back but continues to screw the other woman. He really is a tool but I'm hoping when Overtime comes out, he redeems himself. Kacey seems like a cool chick but this novella focuses solely on Jordie. It is definitely a peek into his type of character and I look forward to reading the novel for them both.
